2025 Official National Cherry Blossom Festival Lapel Pin
The National Cherry Blossom Festival commemorates Japan's 1912 gift of trees to the United States and is one of the world's great celebrations of spring.
This 2025 official pin marks the 113th anniversary of the gift of trees, featuring designs that celebrate the cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin and throughout the region. The blue swirls symbolize the Potomac River's energy and the excitement of springs.
Designed by Maryland artis Laurel Lukaszewski, who draws inspiration from nature and her three decades of promoting U.S.-Japan friendship, the pin embodies spirit of the festival.
