Petersburg National Battlefield

Petersburg National Battlefield in Virginia honors those who fought and died in the longest military event of the Civil War. A 33-mile driving tour of the battlefields includes 13 significant sites and three visitor centers. Visitors can also enjoy guided tours and living history demonstrations to better understand the rich heritage of the area and the incredible suffering of both soldiers and civilians alike.
