Vietnam Women’s Memorial, on the grounds of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC, honors the 265,000 women who dedicated their lives to serve their country during the Vietnam era. Dedicated in 1993, it was the first memorial in Washington, DC, dedicated specifically in honor of women’s military service.
