Oregon Caves was created by dissolving marble. While caves created by dissolving rocks are very common, a cave made of dissolved marble is relatively uncommon and Oregon Caves is one of only 3 marble caves managed by the National Park Service.
The Oregon Caves Collector’s patch brilliantly displays a native Townsend’s big-eared bat in front of the Oregon Caves recognizable stalactites, created by the dissolving marble. The two shades of orange, as well as the black and yellow color accents, give the patch an amazing sense of depth. This easy iron-on patch is sure to look great on a jacket, a pair of jeans, or in your collection.
