Woven in this embroidered patch is the memory of Robert E. Lee. The stitching displays the place that shelters his dearest affections, attachments, and remarkable ancestry: Arlington House. Dedicated as the Robert E. Lee Memorial to honor the Confederate General who helped reunite a nation torn in Civil War, its impressive eight columned portico, the L'Enfant Monument, and elm and oak trees of the Grove are displayed.

Half of the reason to get this patch is for the collection. The other half is for the views of Arlington National Cemetery, the National Mall and the Potomac River.
