Big Bend National Park Patch

Big Bend National Park is located at the northern end of the Chihuahuan Desert.  Within elevations varying from the peaks of the Chisos Mountains to the banks of the Rio Grande, the park has more species of birds, bats and cacti than any other national park.  In 2012, Big Bend was named an ''International Dark Sky Park'' for being one of the best stargazing locations on the planet.
