Junior Rangers earn badges, but Junior Pilots earn wings! The next best thing to climbing into the cockpit of a Mustang P-51, this Junior Pilot pin is the ideal way to commemorate your visit to Moton Field in Alabama. The classic spread wings surround a small token featuring the image of a Red Tail plane, the same kind that was flown in 15,000 escort missions during the second World War.
The pin also features the name of the historic site along with the words ''Alabama'' to remind your junior pilot of their visit to this legendary air field. Pay homage to the brave men and women who worked at Tuskegee during the war with this heavy weight, engraved pin.

This is a very well made junior ranger badge. It is metal and not plastic. Even feels heavy. I like that a junior ranger can now have wings! Wings to explore all that the national park system has to offer. I would recommend this junior ranger badge. Especially if you get to visit the Tuskegee NHS or even if you just download the booklet from their website and complete the booklet. A cool way to earn the wings.
