The Appalachian Trail is an almost 2,200 mile long trail that goes through 14 different states. Originally envisioned and created by private citizens that wanted a way for their fellow Americans to enjoy this beautiful section of the country, the trail was completed in 1937. Today, it is managed by the National Park Service, the United States Forest Service, and the Non-profit Appalachian Trail Conservancy.

Did you thru-hike the trails 2,200 miles, or a portion of the trail? Do you love the idea of a massive, multi-state trail that gives Americans a front row seat to the flora and fauna of eastern North America? Do you love supporting your National Park Service?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this awesome blue and silver pin is for you—wear it with pride!
