Although it's a cold place, there is a lot more than ice at Kenai Fjords National Park. A hike on the Harding Ice Field trail is likely to get you within sight of black
bears, and when you get to the top, you'll be rewarded with a dazzling view of the Ice Field. Then there are easier hikes, like those around Exit Glacier, where you
can get up close to this active glacier. And for the more adventurous, there is the back country, where outdoors enthusiasts can kayak and camp at the fjords.
Showing chunks of floating ice in the calm waters of a fjord, this patch does a great job of giving you just the right idea of this park's cold but beautiful environment.
