Wilson's Creek National Battlefield Hiking Medallion

Wilson's Creek was the second major battle of the Civil War and the first fought west of the Mississippi River. Losses were heavy on each side and though the Southerners were victorious on the field, the Union forces were successful in remaining in control of Missouri.
