Traversing more than 2,100 miles across the highest ridge lines of the Appalachian Mountains and crossing 14 states, the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, or A.T. for short, was officially designated along with the Pacific Crest Trail in 1968. Trail hikers who attempt to complete the whole trail in one season are called ‘thru-hikers’, while those that complete the trail over a few seasons are called ‘section-hikers.’ It is considered one of the most bio-diverse parts of the National Park System. If you’ve ever hiked a section or the whole A.T. then this hat is for you. This rugged, cotton-based hat will provide protection from the elements while also supporting the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
