Celebrate spring all year long with this Cherry Blossom Festival Headband. One February 14, 1912, the city of Tokyo, Japan sent a gift of friendship in the form of cherry trees to Washington, D.C. First Lady Helen Taft and Viscountess Chinda, wife of the Japanese ambassador, planted two of the trees together, and those two trees still stand in Washington D.C. today. Every year, spring is welcomed during the Cherry Blossom Festival there. You can bring home a piece of that festival with this beautiful headband.
