Don't Give Up The Ship Pin

Item#: 333888

Most military commanders would be content to head into battle bearing the standard of their country, but not Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry! In September 1813, he raised a banner with the words DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP emblazoned on it as he sailed his ships into battle against the British on Lake Erie, off the coast of Ohio. The flag and slogan were a symbol of the naval commander's unswerving determination to win.

Now you can reflect that same spirit when you wear this attractive pin. With bold white letters set against a dark blue background, this pin looks similar to Perry's flag of long ago.
