The Lemon House is depicted on this especially reflective lapel pin. Built around 1830, by Samuel Lemon, the Lemon family home doubled as a tavern which served passengers traveling on the recently constructed Allegheny Portage Railroad.
The railroad tracks are visible in the foreground on this square lapel pin. The railroad really was right outside of Samuel Lemon's house!
Grab this pin today as a gift for the rail-fan or historian in your life, or gift it to yourself as a way to remember your visit to the Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site.
