Description

Cadillac Mountain is named after the French explorer Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, who was first granted the land on Mount Desert Island by the governor of New France.

For part of the year, when the sun rises south to due east, Cadillac Mountain is home to the nation's first sunrise. This hiking medallion depicts that first sunrise from the summit of Cadillac Mountain with the pastel pink hues fading to blues towards the horizon.

Whether you've climbed to the summit or you're planning on it, this medallion is a great addition to your collection.
