Description

Jesse Hoover owned a blacksmith shop from 1871-1878. He had a reputation of being good-natured, fair and industrious. The blacksmith shop at Herbert Hoover NHS is a replica of Hoover’s original shop, recreated from drawings by Theodore Hoover, Jesse’s eldest son.
