Fort Stanwix National Monument Embroidered Patch

Item#: 340691

Originally built during the French and Indian War, Fort Stanwix became a part of American lore when it was taken over by colonial patriots and defended from British siege. Local legend states that the fort was the first place the American flag flew during a battle.

With a black border and blue background, this embroidered patch pays tribute to that legend by displaying the flag high on a mast. Visible to the right is the fort's guard tower and embroidered in white, almost like clouds, is the name of the monument.

Sew this embroidered patch on your jacket to show everyone where you've been or place it in a collection to admire. This patch also makes an awesome gift to the revolutionary war fanatic in your life!
