Might need two, 29th Mar 2021

I bought this for my 10 year old son who is really into military history, however I might have to buy another one because I like it so much! Each park has a great write up that was informative and, for the most part, not boring! I could do without the randomly inserted pages for "cancellations or field notes" since there are several pages in the back for this, but some might really like that. I think it would be great if more books like this were made (ANP/Eastern National, totally contact me if you need ideas).

Loved the book!, 28th Feb 2021

This is a great book for touring the civil war sites that the National Parks administer.

America's National Parks Civil War Handbook, 1st May 2019

Reviewer: Thomas Baker

This book is great. I loved the pictures and the description of each place to visit. It is very interesting. There is a place to put your stamp for the park and extra places for stamps. There is also a map in the back which show s where the parks are. I found the map very helpful except for Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. because there is so many they just have dots and the names on the side. You have to look those up to find where they are at. I would highly recommend this book to collect the stamps from the civil war places in National Parks.
