Kings Canyon National Park Pin
Established on March 4, 1940 by Franklin Roosevelt, Kings Canyon 461,901 acres consist of two sections. The main section features granite mountains, pristine lakes, and 75 of the most remote and rugged miles of the John Muir Trail.
Unconnected and to the west, the original General Grant National Park established in 1890, stands as a reminder of our nation's battles between development and protection of land and the resources it holds. Within Grants Grove, giant sequoias stand the test of time, including the 3,000 year old General Grant Tree, standing 267 feet tall.
Special Edition Kings Canyon National Park Pin measures 3/4''W x 1 1/4''H.
