Fort Donelson National Battlefield

Fort Donelson National Battlefield, with units in Dover, Tennessee, and in New Concord, Kentucky, provides visitors with a wide range of historical, educational, and recreational activities. Built on the banks of the Cumberland River, the 600-acre Civil War-era fort is a main point of interest in the park, which also includes the visitor center, Surrender House, and the National Cemetery.
