Reinforce your encounters at Fort Barrancas with the namesake patch. The Confederate Army occupied Fort Barrancas in March of 1861, which created a tense stalemate in the Pensacola Bay, as Federal forces occupied neighboring Fort Pickens. In November of 1861, Fort Barrancas suffered heavy damages in a massive bombardment with Federal Marines and was ultimately abandoned in May of 1862. The patch depicts the canon peering out over the fortified walls, living up to the site's nickname, the Bastion on the Bluffs. Wear this patch on your sleeve and connect the past with the present.
