Clear Mustard Bottle
This Piece is a Historical Reproduction
Our Clear Glass Mustard Bottle is a historical replica modeled after those found on the sunken U.S.S. Cairo, an ironclad gunboat that sank in the Yazoo River during the Civil War. Branded with U.S. Navy in raised lettering, this bottle would have contained mustard and sealed with a cork stopper.
Individually hand blown with manganese, this item holds culinary and glassblowing tradition of the Colonial era that will surely add a little spice to kitchenware!
