Moores Creek National Battlefield

Moores Creek National Battlefield in eastern North Carolina preserves the site of the first significant Patriot victory in the American Revolution. The park boasts a significant program of interpretive tours, living history demonstrations, and war reenactments to enhance visitor understanding and appreciation for the battle which ended British authority in the colony of North Carolina on February 27, 1776.
