Between December 11 and 15, 1862, over 200,000 men clashed in and around Fredericksburg, Virginia. The battle is universally regarded as a one-sided slaughter and a resounding Confederate victory.

Confederate soldiers, easily recognizable by their grey uniforms, are depicted on this embroidered patch engaging in combat from behind a cobblestone wall along the Sunken Road. A notable portion of the third day of fighting.

This circular embroidered patch memorializes the fierce fighting in Fredericksburg that lead to over 18,000 casualties. This patch is a great way to pay tribute to relatives that participated in the battle, or show your fondness for history. It also makes a great gift to the Civil War buff in your life!
