I'm a postcard collector, known for my knowledge of William Henry Jackson and the Detroit Publishing Company,, currently working on a presentation on National Parks. I was excited to see this set of 100 postcards of 63 parks. Unfortunately my expectations were too high. I have a set of nine cards that the Sierra Club send as a membership enticement. The Sierra Club cards are of the 1930s WPA posters. I expected these cards to be similar to the Sierra Club cards but I was wrong. The first card in the box was of Arches National Park. It was taken at night prioritizing the sky over the arch and foreground while theSierra Club card is of the Arch in the daytime and the arch and the foreground are the visual priority.
