Salem Maritime National Historical Park

Salem Maritime National Historical Park tells the stories of New England’s maritime history through guided tours, exhibits, educational programs, and special events. Derby Wharf is home to the tall ship Friendship, which sits along the waterfront as a symbol of 18th- and 19th-century international trade. The Waite and Peirce Information Center and Park Store honors the Friendship’s original owners: Aaron Waite and Jerathmiel Peirce.
