Acadia National Park Ornament
Acadia National Park is a 47,000-acre Atlantic coast recreation area primarily located on Maine’s Mount Desert Island. This figurative glass ornament, produced by Old World Christmas, is handcrafted using time-honored techniques dating back to the 1800s. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds made exclusively for Old World Christmas, then carefully filled with liquid silver. Each ornament is hand-painted and glittered through a series of detailed, labor-intensive steps, resulting in a beautifully crafted keepsake.
