Bert is now my official classroom mascot. Students place him on their desk when they want to "lock in". They tuck him in, on a bean bag and under a blanket, at the end of the day. Who knew?! These are Juniors and Seniors in high school.

Love Bert. Didn't realize the Cold War program lasted so long. I remember school in the 60-70s. Yeah, tuck and cover. But Bert has a new home here and right now he's hanging with his bud Peter Rabbit. He arrived quickly and is well made.
