Dry Tortugas National Park Pin
If you're a camper who likes to rough it at the ocean, then you should add Dry Tortugas National Park to your list of adventuring destinations! Accessible only by seaplane or ferry, this park is a 100-square-mile area consisting mostly of ocean with seven islands, located about 70 miles west of Key West. Go diving and snorkeling to observe the diverse marine life, hop in your canoe or kayak to get around, and top it all off with a visit to historic Fort Jefferson.
You could probably spend your entire visit at Garden Key, the second-largest island in the park and the location of many attractions, including the visitor center, campgrounds and Fort Jefferson. This pin captures a view of that historic fort bordering the waters and a sandy beach.
