The region that is now Grand Teton National Park has been consistently inhabited by various Native American groups for at least the past 11,000 years. It wasn't until 1808 that a white person first laid eyes on the majestic Teton mountain range.

The image on this hiking stick is inspired by a photograph of the Teton Range taken by legendary and pioneering photographer Ansel Adams. The image shows the brilliant and imposing grays, blacks, and whites of the Teton Range that attracted the photographer, as well as Snake River in the Jackson Hole Valley below.
