This Piece is a Historical Reproduction
Our Green Glass Armorial Wine Bottle is modeled after an artifact recovered at Jamestown dating back to 1680 and is on display at the Jamestown Visitor Center Museum. Named for its distinctive neck and bulbous body, this style of shaft and globe wine bottles was prominent between 1660 and 1680.

Green Armorial Wine Bottles are one of many historical reproductions by Jamestown Glasshouse that highlights the craftsmanship of modern day glassblowing while upholding the integrity of early Colonial culture of glass as it is green, the natural of glass during the Colonial era.
