James A. Garfield National Historic Site was established in 1980 to interpret the life and times of the nation's 20th President. Garfield was the last President born in a log cabin. During his short tenure in office, he attacked corruption, initiated civil service reform, and restored some of the prestige to the office of president lost during the Reconstruction period. His administration began March 4, 1881 but was cut short when he was shot by an assassin on July 2. President Garfield died September 19, 1881.

The magnet is great! The extra mailing cost is ridiculous for such a small item. It could've just been put in a regular envelope, maybe wrapped in some paper and mailed for much less. The mailing cost is why I don't buy more things. I want to suggest that on your website, when I go to see what items parks have in their park store, there's often a very small amount of items shown. Most of the time, it just shows generic pins for supporting the parks, but I'd prefer to see more pictures of actual items -- especially magnets. Thanks
