Mount Rainier National Park Pin
Mount Rainier National Park became the 5th national park on March 2, 1899. Covering 236,381 acres, including the 14,410 ft stratovolcano Mount Rainier, it was the first national forest to be designated as a national park. In 1997, the entire park was named as a National Historic Landmark for its National Park Service rustic-style ''parkitecture''.
