Sakura Cherry Blossom Earrings

Sakura is the Japanese term for the ornamental cherry tree and its blossoms. Every year Japanese celebrate the flowering of cherry blossoms with Hamani festivals. They celebrate the beauty and transitory nature of the sakura. Each year, Washington, D.C., celebrates its own Cherry Blossom Festival with the trees that were given as a gift of friendship from Japan as the centerpiece.
