The artwork on these note cards are drawn from eight amazing WPA-era travel posters created in the 1930s to promote tourism. Featuring images from: Arches, Great Smoky Mountains, Wind Cave, Mammoth Cave, and Yellowstone National Parks, as well as artful screen prints of Fort Marion, Bandelier, and Petrified Forest* National Monuments.

These note cards are a great way to add impact to your special gestures. The amazing artwork on these items ensures your thank-you-cards, recipes, or musings will be saved by recipients.

*Owing to the vintage nature of these note cards, they are historically accurate—Petrified Forest was elevated from National Monument to National Park in 1962.

I was disappointed in the note cards because they are pinted in two colors and aren't as bright and colorful as the postcards which I also ordered. I am also tiring of the '40's art work which has been somewhat overused. I love the idea of artwork, just tired of that look. I have used the note cards, post cards and playing cards as a small tangable gift to tuck in with a card explaining to my National Park-loving friends that we have made a donation to the NPS in their name.

Wonderful art celebrating our past while recognizing the importance of our national parks today. These are the perfect note cards to recognize our history and the beauty of our parks today.
