Just got back from our Maine trip that started with a couple of days in Bar Harbor and Acadia. The map served us well , including the hiking options and trail descriptions. Make sure you complement your choices with guidance from the Park Staff.

This map of Acadia National Park is easy to read and is much more detailed than other maps I have seen in guide books and online. It is made from waterproof, durable material that should stand the test of hard use. Our (first) trip to Acadia N.P. is still a few weeks away, so I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because we have not put it to actual use, but if the map proves to be as helpful as I think it will be. it will deserve that additional star.

While it's nifty that eParks lists all the areas this map DOES cover, it should also list the areas it DOES NOT COVER... Specifically, Schoodic and Isle au Haut are NOT included on this map. Disappointing since (like most buyers) we're new to Acadia and would not think to conduct an inventory to make sure the map actually covers all of the park. Grrrr.
That being said, the map is very high quality, large, and easy to read.

Good size and great information, shows all the trails, etc.
